Engineered without compromise.

Submersible service is unforgiving. Sealing failures cost vessels their day rate. Insulation failures cost weeks of downtime. Every detail of the TKBS construction is sized for that reality.

Multi-stage shaft sealing

Mechanical seal as primary stage, oil seal as secondary, sealed by fluoroelastomer rings. Engineered for long-duration submerged storage.

316L stainless welded shell

Corrosion-resistant welded outer construction. All bolts and fasteners in 316L stainless. Built for continuous seawater contact.

Pressure balancing for deep sea

Automatic pressure balancing devices equalise internal and external pressure for deep sea sand mining at depths to 300 metres.

Five-zone protection sensing

Overheat, motor chamber moisture, oil chamber moisture, cable chamber moisture and bearing temperature, each routed to the switchgear protector.

VFD-compatible windings

Designed with full consideration of inverter harmonics and frequency variation. Suitable for soft start, full inverter control or diesel-direct drive.
